A morning meditation to reset your mindset
Good morning, lovely one.
Just find a comfortable position. You can either sit or lay down for this one. Somewhere where you can be undisturbed for the next few minutes.
Letting your hands gently rest in your lap or by your sides. And when you're ready, allow your eyes to close or soften your gaze.
Take a moment to simply arrive.
There's nothing you need to do right now.
Just be here as you are.
Notice the gentle rhythm of your breath moving in and out of your body. No need to change or control it. Just observe.
Feel the air as it enters through your nose. Cool and fresh. And as it leaves your body. A little warmer, a little softer.
Each breath anchoring you in this moment. Now gently bring your attention to your body, noticing where it makes contact with the surface beneath you.
The feeling of support. Of being held.
Sense any areas of tension and if you can, allow them to soften. Your shoulders, your jaw. Your hands, your feet.
No need to force relaxation. Just invite ease into your body in whatever way feels natural to you.
Now bring your awareness to what you can hear the sounds further away from you. The sounds close by. Perhaps your own breath. There's no need to label or analyse. Simply notice.
Shift your attention to the feeling of the air on your skin, the temperature, the sensations of cloth resting against you. Maybe the gentle movement of breath in your chest. Again, just observing. Just noticing.
As you settle into this moment. Bring your mind to the day ahead. Not with stress or Urgency, but with gentle curiosity.
Ask yourself, how do I want to move through this day? What quality do I want to carry with me? Maybe it's calm. Maybe it's focus, patience, joy or trust. Whatever comes up for you, let that be your intention.
Holding it lightly in your mind, as if placing it gently in the palm of your hand. Take a few more moments here.
Breathing naturally, Feeling grounded and steady.
And when you're ready, begin to invite some gentle movement back into the body.
Wiggling your fingers.
Rolling your shoulders.
Stretching in a way that feels good to you.
Slowly opening your eyes. And as you move into your day, carry your intention with you. Let it guide your choices, your mindset, and how you show up for yourself.
You are grounded. You are present.
You are ready for the day ahead.
